NCWE Awards 2009/10

In January 2010 Barclays Wealth was shortlisted for the best Workplace Diversity Award for its internship programme, sponsored
by the National Council for Work Experience (NCWE).

The NCWE is an organisation which works to promote, support and develop quality work experience for the benefit of students, organisations and the economy.  The NCWE Awards are an annual awards scheme designed to encourage and reward organisations - whatever their size or industry - that display good practice in work experience.

HITCN Award 

In September 2008 Barclays Wealth won the‘Here Is The City News’ (HITCN) Award for the best financial servicesgraduate recruitment and development programme, beating many of the bignames in the Private and Investment Banking industry.  

Anindependent panel of six judges from around the industry judged theaward. The panel were very impressed with the graduate recruitment anddevelopment offering of Barclays Wealth and commented: “Barclays Wealthhad equal strength in both the recruitment and development of graduatesand had a clear commitment to both initial training for new joiners,and ongoing development and retention. Barclays Wealth is leading theWealth Management field in the area of graduate development.”
